Alisson is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League - and he's on course to land Liverpool the title
Alisson Becker is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League and we have the stats to prove it. The Brazilian is statistically the best shot-stopper in the top-flight right now.
The 26-year-old has been a standout performer for Liverpool since making the move from AS Roma in the summer and has kept a division-high five clean sheets so far this campaign.
Alongside compatriot Ederson, the Brazilian has conceded just three goals in the top-flight this season - the lowest total amongst goalkeepers to have played the maximum 720 minutes.
That total has also seen him surpass some of the best goalkeepers in the Reds' modern history with him enjoying the best start to an Anfield career of any shot-stopper since Liverpool’s return to the top-flight in 1962.
Conceding every 240 minutes, or once every 2.7 games, he has also made 18 saves so far this season and boasts a save percentage of 86%.
Having made five more saves than Ederson, that figure is the best in the division out of all the ever-present goalkeepers. And when you consider the destructive nature of the first goal Alisson conceded against Leicester City, his numbers could be even greater.
Keep it up and the Brazilian looks set to become the first Liverpool goalkeeper to win the Premier League Golden Glove award since Pepe Reina in 2008.
