Gang jailed for "brick of cocaine"

It was revealed that they were in fact the two were the runners for a drug dealing gang with links to Birmingham.
The jury did not believe Iles and Wedmore's story about their involvement in bringing large quantities of Class A drugs into Bristol and found them guilty. But what jurors weren’t told was that four other men had already pleaded guilty to their involvement in the operation.
Police said after the case that the gang’s leader was Lee Wood, 29, of no fixed address. He was named in the trial as the man responsible for ordering the drugs Iles and Wedmore were caught with earlier this year. He has already been jailed for five-and-a-half years, after admitting being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
