While Stormzy is not known to promote fur, his association with Burberry, which sells clothing with fur derived from animals including foxes and raccoons, gave rise to the protest.
Yesterday's show, set to a soundtrack of Pet Shop Boys hits, included shearling robe-style coats in candy colours.
The star-studded show, showcasing the brand’s spring/summer 2018 collection, was also attended by Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn, and Liam Gallagher's son Lennon.
It was due to kick off at 7pm but started slightly later because police had to be called due to the protest.
Officers formed a human chain to protect guests to the event from protesters.
Anti-fur protesters in the UK have been making their presence felt at London Fashion Week since the opening day, with three models and PETA supporters gathering outside 180 Strand — the official British Fashion Council venue — on Friday morning, wearing faux leather dresses and skeleton face paint and holding signs with slogans such as 'Leather is dead' or 'I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing animal skin', fashion magazineWomen's Wear Daily reports. #BAL
