"Super slimmer" not happy with her excess skin
At her heaviest, Jessica tipped the scales at 22 stone three lbs and squeezed into a size 26.
Her weight prevented her from living her life, so she agreed to undertake surgery after being advised to do so by her doctor.
Seattle-based Jessica remembered: “Over the years my weight stopped me from doing everything, I once got stuck on a rollercoaster at a theme park, they tried to force down the harness but it wouldn’t fit.
“On the way home from work I would stop at a fast food place, and get a pre-meal because I was so hungry.
“I would eat it in the car and get rid of the evidence before I got home.”
In 2014, Jessica had a £34,400 gastric sleeve fitted and the weight started falling off her. She recalled: “The surgery worked great at first, but I started to get acid reflux and was referred back to the hospital.
“Three weeks after my wedding in July 2016, I underwent a gastric bypass to correct the complications caused by my first operation.”
The surgery has been a success, as Jessica has managed to shift an impressive eight stone six lbs.
Even though the administrative assistant is thrilled to have lost the weight, she now has hang-ups about her excess skin.
